Judas and the Black Messiah: The Inspired Album

いま話題の映画『Judas and the Black Messiah』のサントラ.. では無く “The Inspired Album”だそうです。(ホントの意味でのサントラ “Judas and the Black Messiah (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)”とは別です) Spotifyでは両方聴けますよ。

第一印象は、物々しい雰囲気。決してノリノリでは無く重々しい曲が続きます。(映画自体のイメージ通りなんでしょうね) 知ってる演者も NAS Jay-Z Rakim しかいないし、投げ出しそうになりましたが、”噛めば味の出る”系だったようで、次第に耳に馴染んでくると その物々しさがいい感じです。“New Jersey Drive”のサントラもそんな印象だった気がします。ほぼ同時期だった “Street Fighter”のサントラのイケイケ感とは全く逆の感じ。チャゲアス入ってるしね。
